GenerarPassword.com was born in 2024 out of a personal need. After one of our founders experienced an attempted hack on their bank accounts due to weak and reused passwords, we realized that millions of people are at risk every day because they don't know how to create secure passwords.

Most password generators available at the time were:

100% local generation: We use your browser's crypto.getRandomValues() API. Even we cannot see your passwords.
No intermediary servers: All code runs on your device. You can disconnect from the internet and keep generating passwords.
Auditable open code: Any security expert can review our code by pressing F12 in the browser.
Mandatory HTTPS: All communications are encrypted with SSL/TLS certificates.
No tracking cookies: We only use essential cookies for functionality (dark theme, language). Never to track you.
